So I'm not so good at blogging yet.

Ok so I realize it has been awhile since I last blogged. Sorry. I am working on trying to make this a part of my normal routine and it doesn't seem to be working. So a lot has gone on in the last few weeks.

Marty has now worked at PrintPack for almost two full weeks and he is loving it. He has been doing a lot of training and learning of the new systems. Last week he got to fix his first breakdown and he was very excited to be so hands on with it. He seems to be making great relationships with his co-workers and is enjoying learning his way around the plants he will be working at.

Our first weekend apart was last weekend and it was tough, but we both had good weekends. For me (Megan) things started out with shopping and dinner with my sis-in-law Amy and niece Amya on Friday. Saturday I hung around home and did some cleaning out of old stuff so I can get ready to start packing. Maggie and I also went for a nice walk and played outside. Sunday brought on a new adventure for me when my car wouldn't start before church. My dad came over though and got it working. Only to not have it work again on Monday. More to come on that though later.

For Marty his weekend was a little more eventful. Saturday he went to a car show a co-worker suggested, a boxing type fight another co-worker was participating in (I don't remember what the name of it was) and then he traveled to Virginia Beach to see what was in the area. He just drove around down there, but found the hot spot for vacations. I can't wait to go see it. I am still working on getting him to take pictures of things while he is driving around so sorry about no pictures. Sunday he tried out one of the Catholic churches we looked at joining. He said it was a nice service, but long. He met some really nice people who were sitting next to him. I don't remember their names, but they were a younger couple with a 18 month old and a 3 or 4 year old. The husband is in the Navy down there. After church he watched some Sunday football and tried out a new sports bar in the area so he could see some of the lions game. While there he met a few of the players from the William and Mary College football team. We plan on trying to make it to one of their games this season. So that was our first weekend apart.

Back to my car. On Sunday when I went to start it, it would start. Dad came over and got it started after trying a few different things, but come Monday morning it wasn't working again. I had to call into work and then have my car towed from our house to the dealership. It was so sad watching it go. Karl took me to the dealership after the car left so I could get a rental car so I could still get around. On Monday I had an Aura for my rental and it was really nice. It was fully loaded. It was fun to drive a car for a change. I picked up my car later that afternoon and was told that the battery was bad and the onstar backup battery was bad so they replaced both of those. I thought things were done, but then Tuesday on my way to my OB/GYN appointment the onstart light turned red again which meant it wasn't working again. I took my car back to the dealership and this time got a red vue to drive. After taking two days to look it over they found a bad connection on the onstar that was shorting out and was causing the battery to run low. They fixed that and as of this morning (Thursday) I now have my car back with two brand new batteries and a good connection. It was just in time for the car to now sit at the airport all weekend.
My OB/GYN appointment went well on Tuesday. Haleigh was moving around a lot. The doc had a hard time keep a heartbeat on her because she kept moving. Her heartbeat was 156 which I was told was very good. I am measuring right on track as well. So all things good on the baby front. Ok so I have much more to talk about, but I think this post is long enough. I will post again very soon. If not before, for sure after my weekend trip to visit Marty in Virginia. I can't wait to see him.
