Drive to Virginia

Our drive started around 5:45 am on Sunday, Nov. 1. Leaving that early in the morning allowed us to make really good timing for the first half of our trip. I was a little worried about being in the car for 12-13 hours, but it ended up being a great road trip. Marty and I had such a great time talking and believe it or not Maggie even had a good time. Every time we stopped she got to get out and run around for a little bit and we all got to see parts of the U.S. that we hadn't seen before. Off the top of my head right now I don't remember the exact route we took, but we mapped it out for those who would like to come visit. It truly was a beautiful drive. I will be posting some pictures on our shutterfly site if you want to take a look. Of course pictures don't always capture the true beauty of an area. We finally arrived at our house around 6:45 pm. We stopped by our actually house to look around and then went on to the apartment Marty had been staying in so we could all get a good nights sleep.
